Job summary

OneCall24 Limited is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support a male client at home in Leicester. This role focuses on delivering compassionate, professional care with emphasis on independence and dignity while coordinating with the family.

You will assist with all ADLs, monitor health, manage seizures, and support 2:1 daytime care. Experience in TBIs, PEG feeding, and medication administration is valued; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing ADLs and health monitoring.
• Ability to assist non-verbal clients with daily living tasks.
• Experience with seizure management and medication routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide full assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitor health and wellbeing.
• Support a non-verbal client with personal care, daily tasks, and safety.
• Work in a 2:1 daytime care package with another carer.
• Maintain client dignity, comfort and independence at all times.

Shift Pattern

Day Shifts / Night shifts (08:00am - 20:00pm and 20:00pm - 08:00am) - 12 Hour shifts.

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care and support a male client living in his home environment.This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive and meaningful impact on his daily life while working closely with his family to uphold his dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include providing full assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring the client's health and well-being, and always ensuring his comfort and safety.The client is non-verbal, experiences regular seizures, and requires full assistance with all personal care and daily living activities.This is a 2:1 care package during the day, meaning two carers are required to support the client simultaneously.
