A leading healthcare provider in Lancashire is looking for a full-time Band 3 Health Care Assistant for Ward 38, a busy Cardiothoracic Ward. Responsibilities include personal care, nutrition assistance, and monitoring of high-risk patients. This position involves shift work, with weekend and bank holiday shifts. A position has become available for a full-time Band 3 Health Care Assistant on Ward 38. Ward 38 is a busy 28-bedded Cardiothoracic Ward.
Ward 38 provides high-quality care for patients having Cardiac and Thoracic surgery, we care for patients who have stepped down from CITU, CCU, A & E, and also elective admissions. This position is a shift-working role, internal rotation of shifts is ongoing, you will be expected to work weekends, bank holidays, late finishes.
