Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their Nursing team on a bank basis, working 'as and when required' to support staffing during busy periods or staff absences.

Role Details:

• Location: Thornbury Hospital, Sheffield
• Shifts: Bank shifts (as needed)
• Salary: £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs, respecting their dignity and preferences.
• Support with routine observations and basic clinical procedures, after appropriate training.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in a care or health support role (hospital, care home, community).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and escalate concerns properly.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
• Physically capable of performing moving and handling duties.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred).
• Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control, and confidentiality protocols.
