Job summary

MCS Healthcare in Weymouth is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our team delivering compassionate community care. You will administer medications, provide tracheostomy and PEG care, and monitor health observations to keep clients safe and well.

The role requires at least 1 year of healthcare assistant experience, a Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care, a Full UK driving licence, and DBS Update Service registration. We offer induction and ongoing development, plus flexible shifts.

Pay: £17.00 per hour

To be successful, you'll need:

• A Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care
• At least 1 year of healthcare assistant experience

Experience with:

• PEG feeding
• Oxygen therapy
• Epilepsy management
• Medication administration

Other requirements:

• A Full UK driving licence
• Safeguarding Level 2 or 3
• A DBS registered on the Update Service
• Valid Manual Handling & Basic Life Support training
