Job summary

MCS Healthcare in Weymouth is seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team. You will administer medications, monitor health observations, and support clients with complex needs while upholding dignity and comfort.

A Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care, at least 1 year of experience, a full UK driving licence, and safeguarding DBS updates are required. We offer paid induction, ongoing training, and flexible shifts.

• Safeguarding Level 2 or 3
• A DBS registered on the Update Service
• Valid Manual Handling & Basic Life Support training

To be successful, you’ll need:

A Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care

At least 1 year of healthcare assistant experience

Experience with:

• Catheter suctioning
• Tracheostomy care
• PEG feeding
• Oxygen therapy
• Epilepsy management
• Medication administration

A Full UK driving licence

Safeguarding Level 2 or 3

A DBS registered on the Update Service

Valid Manual Handling & Basic Life Support training
