Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality care across various settings, from elderly care to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. You’ll be part of a compassionate team where every contribution counts and shifts can be tailored to you.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Flexible availability with ability to travel to different care settings.
• Good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support safe lifting and moving and assist with medication administration.
• Prepare meals and provide general companionship to individuals.
• Follow care plans to promote independence and dignity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You’ll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.
