Job summary

Nurseplus is hiring Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care across various settings in the social care sector. You’ll assist with personal care, medication, meals, and companionship while following care plans to protect independence and dignity.

We offer flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends), weekly pay at competitive rates (£13.15–£18.50 per hour), and access to the Workwise app for easy scheduling. Training is provided and funded qualifications like NVQ Levels 2/3 are supported.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Flexible availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.
• Good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting service users with personal care, including helping with daily activities.
• Safe lifting and moving as required by care plans.
• Administering medication as directed.
• Meal preparation and providing general companionship.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You’ll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.
