Job summary

Nurse Plus UK is seeking an Experienced Healthcare Assistant to deliver high-quality care across settings, from elderly care to individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs. You’ll be part of a compassionate team where every contribution matters.

You’ll work with care plans to promote independence and dignity, carrying out personal care, mobility support, meals, and companionship while adapting to different settings and schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• At least 6 months UK-based paid experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
• Flexibility to travel between care settings.
• Clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
• Good English and effective communication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You’ll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.
