Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment dealing with patients.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to work 40 hours per week. The successful applicant will need experience working in clinical settings or the healthcare environment.

The candidate should have experience in a healthcare environment, as they will be required to provide both administration and patient support, including chaperoning patients and assisting Radiographers during scans. They will also handle admin duties related to the patient pathway, following standard guidelines. Good communication skills (both written and verbal), IT proficiency, and understanding radiation protection protocols are essential. Excellent patient care skills are also required.

Attention to detail, flexibility, organization, and an enthusiastic attitude are key qualities. The role demands high accuracy, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage turnaround times.

Supporting Radiographers during patient scans, assisting patients, chaperoning, and administrative tasks such as telephone bookings are core responsibilities.
