A leading provider of imaging services in Europe is seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join their team in Southampton. The role involves supporting patients and Radiographers by preparing them for scans, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring high standards of patient care. Candidates should have prior experience in healthcare environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment dealing with patients.
You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to work 40 hours per week. The successful applicant will need experience working in clinical settings or the healthcare environment.

The candidate should have experience in a healthcare environment, as they will be required to provide both administration and patient support, including chaperoning patients and assisting Radiographers during scans. They will also handle admin duties related to the patient pathway in line with standard guidelines. Good communication skills (both written and verbal), IT skills, and the ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols are essential. Excellent patient care skills are also required.
Attention to detail, flexibility, organization, and enthusiasm are key attributes. The role demands working with high accuracy under pressure, meeting deadlines and turnaround times.
You will support Radiographers during patient scans, assist patients, chaperone when necessary, and handle administrative tasks such as making telephone bookings for patients.
