Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care across a range of settings in the UK. The role focuses on supporting service users with personal care, mobility, medication administration, meal preparation and companionship to maintain independence and dignity.

You will join a compassionate team, with flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends. Training and progression opportunities are provided, with DBS checks arranged after registration.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and eligible to work in the UK.
• Female staff member.
• Flexible availability, able to attend shifts at short notice and travel between care settings.
• Good standard of English and clear communication.
• Clear enhanced DBS (can apply upon registration).
• 6+ months care experience (Nursing home preferred).
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care and daily activities.
• Assist with safe lifting and moving.
• Administer medication as directed and according to care plans.
• Prepare meals and provide companionship to maintain independence and dignity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You’ll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Female staff member
• Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to attend shifts at short notice and travel to different care settings.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
• 6 months or more experience in a Nursing home
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle
• You will be required to work within both residential and support living services to meet the needs of the business.
