Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support a range of care settings, from elderly care to individuals with learning disabilities. You will help with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship, following care plans to promote independence and dignity.

We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay between £13.15 and £18.50 per hour, and industry-leading training with development opportunities. A DBS check is required and support is provided for obtaining it.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility in availability and the ability to travel to different care settings.
• Good standard of English and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, and meal preparation.
• Administer medication where required and provide general companionship.
• Work closely with care plans to promote independence and dignity.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You'll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.
