Job summary

Loos Valley Care Home in Maidstone is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team on mixed day and night shifts. The role offers 44 contracted hours with shifts rotated every few weeks, and an hourly rate from £13. A supportive team environment includes ongoing training and opportunities for progression within Nellsar.

You will contribute to high-quality physical, emotional and social support for residents, while upholding dignity, privacy and person-centred care in a friendly home setting.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate with respect for privacy and dignity.
• Willing to undergo ongoing training and progression opportunities.
• Ability to follow care plans, assessments and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
• Ensuring care plans, assessments and risk assessments and other care documentation in place to support residents are followed accordingly.
• Being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of residents.
• Maintaining the residents’ independence, privacy, and dignity always.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all care given, onto our software package (handheld devices).
• Ensuring Infection Control procedures are always adhered to.

Location : Loose Valley Care Home, 15 Linton Road, Maidstone, Kent ME15 0AG
