Nurses UK is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our care team across the South West of England. The role offers day and night shifts, full- or part-time, with competitive hourly pay and time-and-a-half on Bank Holidays.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll work alongside nurses and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care, maintain a safe environment, and document care accurately in line with service requirements. Join a supportive, professional team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in the UK (preferred).
• Care Certificate or willingness to complete relevant training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to high standards of care and professional practice.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care to patients/service users.
• Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility, toileting, feeding, etc.).
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to senior staff.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in delivering patient-centred care.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment.
• Accurately document care provided in line with service requirements.
• Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactions.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: £13.68-£17.18 per hour plus time and a half on Bank Holidays.
