Job summary

Nurses UK is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our care team across the South West of England. You will support delivery of high-quality care, assist with daily living activities, and work closely with nurses and multidisciplinary teams.

We offer flexible day and night shifts, competitive pay (£13.68–£17.18 per hour) with time and a half on Bank Holidays, weekly pay, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in the UK preferred.
• Care Certificate or willingness to complete training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care to patients/service users.
• Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility, toileting, feeding, etc.).
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to senior staff.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in delivering patient-centred care.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment.
• Accurately document care provided in line with service requirements.
• Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactions.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Nurses UK is searching for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our exceptional care team and support the delivery of outstanding healthcare services across the South West of England.

Pay: £13.68-£17.18 per hour plus time and a half on Bank Holidays.
