We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre (IRC).
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients and delivering outstanding care. Gatwick IRC is a detention centre based on the grounds of Gatwick Airport.

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Gatwick IRC. This role involves providing healthcare services in a secure environment, supporting both nursing and pharmacy teams, and delivering patient-centered care.
Hours: Full-time role with 24/7 healthcare coverage. Shifts are 07:00 - 19:30 and 19:00 - 07:30, including nights and weekends on a rota basis.
Salary: £30,684 per annum, depending on experience.
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Employment offers are subject to vetting and security checks.

Hold a NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent. A non-judgmental, compassionate approach is essential. Being a driver with access to a vehicle is preferred due to the location.
This role requires a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
