You will join an inclusive and supportive team providing care to people with a range of mental health conditions. Your knowledge and skills will help individuals along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your daily tasks will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

The shift pattern involves 12.5-hour shifts, 3-4 days a week, including nights and weekends.
You will be based at Thornford Park, a 130-bed independent hospital supporting service users requiring medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. The facility also includes a PICU Mental Health Service.
The service offers a seamless internal care pathway supporting recovery and rehabilitation. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalized assessment and treatment programs for males with mental illness/complex care needs, personality disorders, and for females and males in a PICU setting.
