Job summary

Romford Care Home is seeking Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team. You will assist residents with personal care, support daily activities, and help provide engaging social and recreational activities to residents in a purpose-built care environment.

The role focuses on compassionate, patient care for our elderly residents, including those with dementia, with teamwork and commitment to high standards of care. This is an on-site position in Romford, London.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (washing, hygiene, dressing and feeding).
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities and events with residents, individually and in groups.
• Support residents' emotional well-being and social needs.
• Participate in developing resident Care plans and understand any specialist support needs.
• Assist residents with mobility and daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding
• Providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities or events with residents, both individually and as a group
• Taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of the residents
• Being aware and participating in the development of resident Care plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs
• Assisting residents with mobility and support
