Job summary

Care Outlook is seeking a Care Assistant to support vulnerable adults at the Eastergate Extra Care Scheme. You will deliver personal care, companionship and attention to individual needs in a respectful, dignified manner.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with shifts 07:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. You will receive comprehensive training, access to NVQs, an 8% pension plan, 28 days leave pro rata, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Assisting clients with personal care activities such as washing, toileting, dressing.
• Performing light housekeeping and daily living tasks as needed.
• Observing, monitoring and recording client wellbeing and changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and build trusted relationships.
• Support clients with daily activities, mobility and light household chores.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes to supervisors.

Here at Care Outlook to help improve the lives of the vulnerable and elderly in our wonderful Extra Care Scheme in Eastergate, PO20. Monaveen Extra Care Scheme, Peckham Chase, Eastergate, PO20 3BD.

As a healthcare assistant/support worker you will be providing personal care, building relationships, and making a big difference to those who need it whilst gaining great job satisfaction.

We are really interested to speak to people that live in the below areas nearby that can commute into Eastergate, if you live outside of these areas please plan your route before applying.

• Eastergate and the surrounding villages
• Chichester
• Bognor Regis

If you're applying and you live in Portsmouth, Havant or Selsey you will need a car due to commuting distance. Please don't apply if you do not have a car (own transport) and live in these areas.

Examples of the client's needs you will be supporting with as a carer:

Assisting clients with personal care (Washing, toileting, dressing etc.).

Performing light housekeeping tasks.

Must be available for alternate weekends

Full support will be given to you in your role from the very beginning, ensuring you are fully trained, competent, and confident to deliver outstanding care.

No experience necessary, as our support workers are provided with excellent training in full.
