Daventry Hill School is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support pupils with identified health needs. The role involves helping with medication, personal care and monitoring students’ health within a school setting. You will liaison with medical professionals and other staff to ensure pupils receive appropriate care.
We welcome candidates with experience in health services, social care, or education who are patient, team oriented and committed to supporting young people with additional needs.
Salary: Grade G Points 8-13 £26,824-£29,064 (FTE) - Actual Salary £22,967 to £24,885 pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Daventry Hill School is a specialist school which caters for the needs of over 200 pupils from the ages of 4 to 18. Our pupils have a wide range of needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD and complex learning difficulties; with additional needs such as ASD and SLCN. The school is part of Creating Tomorrow Trust which is a growing Trust supporting schools who believe that children can achieve irrespective of their learning needs.

We are a school of choice and currently oversubscribed. We strongly believe in our wider commitment to the community and work with other schools and local businesses to develop the provision for young people with SEND as a whole.
We are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to support our fantastic students, specifically those with identified additional/complex health needs. Candidates with suitable experience, motivation and commitment have the opportunity to apply for the role.
