Support Worker Opportunity at First Option Healthcare (PALMS services)

First Option Healthcare (PALMS services) is currently recruiting Support Workers with experience in working with children, adults, and older adults exhibiting complex and challenging behaviour, including those with mild, moderate, and severe learning disabilities.

We offer a great opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in their family homes. We are seeking experienced HCAs with backgrounds in:

• Learning Disabilities
• Mental Health

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience working with mental health service users displaying challenging behaviour (Essential)
• 1 year of PMVA/Breakaway training (Essential)
• Familiarity with Positive Behavioural Support plans (Desirable)
• Valid driving license
• Guaranteed hours within a set rota pattern
• Training, bespoke onsite and in-house development, with career progression and continuous clinical support
• Monthly supervisions for ongoing support
• Weekly COVID testing and vaccination facilitation
• 24/7 Out of Hours support with Clinical Leads and Care Managers
• Referral Scheme
