We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to work on an ad-hoc shift basis in Care Homes across the Ipswich area. This flexible position allows you to pick shifts that suit your schedule, providing the perfect opportunity for individuals looking for a rewarding role in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents in Care Homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, eating, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record residents' conditions, reporting any changes to senior staff.
  • Support residents with personal hygiene tasks and ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Work in a person-centered approach to provide emotional and physical support.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
  • A willingness to undergo further training and professional development.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and flexible with working hours.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
