Healthcare Assistant – GP Surgery – Bradford

Salary: £13.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience and skills – up to £15/hour)

Hours: Full Time

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Position Overview

An established GP practice in Bradford is seeking a dedicated and proactive Healthcare Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a full-time position within a busy surgery serving 8,600 patients. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conducting ECGs, blood pressures, phlebotomy (blood tests), urine testing, and NHS Health Checks
2. Supporting weekly care home visits (within walking distance)
3. Assisting with foot checks (training can be provided)
4. Working closely with the nursing and clinical team
5. Maintaining accurate clinical records using SystmOne

Requirements

1. Previous experience in a GP surgery or primary care setting
2. Confident performing essential HCA duties
3. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
4. Familiarity with SystmOne is highly desirable
