- Genuine interest in providing person-centered care.
- Experience in care/mental health is advantageous but not essential.
- Candidates will need to pass an Enhanced DBS check.

We have an amazing opportunity for Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants to join our caring and support team at our Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, our specialist centre in Kent, we look after adults with a brain injury or other neurological condition.
Set within the 12 acre grounds of a manor house, we specialise in intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury right through to residential care.
What you'll be working:
FULL TIME – 36 hours per week
The hours are 7am to 7:30pm and 7pm to 7:30am.
What you'll be doing:
- Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way
- Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
- Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
- Assist patients with mealtimes where necessary
- Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
- Communicate any issues to the clinical team
- Accurately report and/or record work activities
- Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights.
What you'll have:
- A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our young people
- Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
