A leading health care provider in Lowestoft is seeking a dedicated Health Care professional for a permanent, full-time role. Conduct monthly quality control checks and communicate data with the control centre. Document findings in patients' records and report any abnormal findings or changes in observations. Assist healthcare professionals in emergency management and be confident in basic resuscitation techniques. Conduct annual/routine appointments according to protocol, accurately recording findings and reporting abnormalities. Undertake minor dressings under the direction of practice nurses. Perform ear assessments and advise patients accordingly, referring to a doctor or nurse when necessary. Enable patients to access appropriate professionals or clinics within the practice. Act as a chaperone when needed. Promote health living principles and provide relevant health promotion literature. Instruct patients in appropriate techniques or tasks. Document and report all clinical incidents or near misses according to procedures. Assist doctors and support patients during minor operations, including the insertion of IUCDs and implants. Administer seasonal flu and pneumococcal vaccinations following protocol and patient-specific directions. Administer intramuscular Vitamin B12 injections as instructed by the GP. Assist in research studies as directed (GCP training required). Participate in the running of the phlebotomy service according to practice protocol.
