Elysium Healthcare Limited is hiring a Healthcare Assistant at Farmfield Hospital in Surrey. You will join an inclusive, supportive team caring for adults with mental health conditions, helping patients along their recovery pathway with empathy and resilience.

The role involves ward rounds, updating records, personal care, and flexible shift patterns (12.5 hours per day, 3–4 days a week including nights and weekends).

What you will be doing

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.

Where you will be working

Location:

Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN

You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, located next to Gatwick.

You’ll be caring for adult men 18+ who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviours.
