Job summary

Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a safe, clean environment for adult men with complex needs. You will work as part of the housekeeping team across wards, offices, bedrooms and visitor areas, following required policies and delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Farmfield as a Housekeeper. You will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for you will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for adult men who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area. Working closely with the maintenance team you’ll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services. You’ll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better. Where you will be working:

Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, located next to Gatwick. You’ll be caring for adult men 18+ who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviours.
