Job summary

Elysium Healthcare Limited is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant for Three Valleys Hospital in Keighley. You will join an inclusive team delivering care to people with complex mental health conditions and support their recovery journey.

Your day includes ward rounds, recording and updating patient records, assisting with personal hygiene, and collaborating with colleagues to adapt care to individual needs, on a shift pattern of 12.5 hours across 3-4 days including nights and weekends.

• Willingness to undergo DBS disclosure.

What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with complex mental health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.

Join the multidisciplinary team at Three Valleys Hospital, care for people with complex mental health issues in a safe and supportive environment.

There are a range of services across five wards - including a specialist dementia service - where you’ll gain experience working with gender-specific distinct rehabilitation and step-down services. All 43 bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and the communal areas are spacious with a warm, homely feel.
