Three Valleys Hospital in Keighley, operated by Elysium Healthcare Limited, seeks a caring Healthcare Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team supporting people with complex mental health conditions. You will contribute to recovery pathways and provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a safe environment.

You’ll work 12.5-hour shifts, 3–4 days a week including nights and weekends, with access to extensive training, development opportunities, and a supportive culture focused on kindness

What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with complex mental health conditions , using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.

Join the multidisciplinary team at Three Valleys Hospital, care for people with complex mental health issues in a safe and supportive environment.

There are a range of services across five wards – including a specialist dementia service - where you’ll gain experience working with gender‑specific distinct rehabilitation and step‑down services. All 43 bedrooms have en‑suite facilities, and the communal areas are spacious with a warm, homely feel.
