Are you passionate about supporting learners in their journey to success? Do you have a background in healthcare and enjoy guiding others to achieve their professional goals? We’re looking for a motivated and dedicated Healthcare Assessor/Coach to join our team and help learners complete their Level 3 Apprenticeship in Senior Healthcare Support Work.

This exciting zero-hour role offers flexible part-time hours, remote work, and the opportunity to travel to various locations, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance and variety in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality training and assessment programmes for Senior Healthcare Support Workers, ensuring that learners achieve their Diploma and Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
  2. Conduct regular assessments and reviews, providing clear, constructive feedback to learners and ensuring they are fully prepared for End Point Assessment.
  3. Arrange and complete workplace visits to observe learners’ progress, providing support, guidance, and feedback in line with the required qualification standards.
  4. Maintain accurate learner records and electronic portfolios, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  5. Manage and monitor the progress of your allocated learners, ensuring they meet their target achievement dates and receive the necessary support.
  6. Collaborate with learners, line managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progression throughout the apprenticeship programme.
  7. Attend and participate in team meetings, standardisation sessions, and ongoing professional development activities as required.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  1. L3 NVQ/Diploma in Healthcare with relevant clinical experience.
  2. Proven experience in managing learner progress and delivering high-quality assessments and feedback.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach and mentor learners effectively.
  4. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload of learners and meet deadlines.
  5. IT proficient, with the ability to use digital tools to track and manage learner progress.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  1. TAQA/A1/D32/33, V1/D34, or equivalent assessor qualifications.
  2. Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS).
  3. Knowledge of Apprenticeship standards and experience with classroom delivery.
  4. Familiarity with the Ofsted inspection framework.
