Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director of Accounting for Pharmacy Services to lead the financial operations, ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions, and support reporting, budgeting and analysis. Qualifications

12+ years of relevant work experience.
CPA certification required.
Experience in Healthcare Industry and/or matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

Leads department and manages day-to-day accounting operations with timely financial statements.
Ensures compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls by developing policies.
Leads budgeting and forecasting for owned accounting areas with collaborating teams.
Develops relationships with leaders to provide financial insights for business initiatives.
Formulates financial strategies with senior management to align with goals.
Implements best practices, technology solutions, and process improvements.
Manages budget, performance, and compliance; develops workforce and succession plans.
Establishes performance expectations and promotes continuous improvement.
