Job summary

NHS Forth Valley invites an enthusiastic Health Visitor to join the Health Visiting team at Falkirk Central, Falkirk Community Hospital, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work with a diverse client group, including children and families with additional and complex needs, delivering the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.

The role requires caseload management, safeguarding experience, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Health Visitor with current practice experience to work on a full-time, permanent basis within the Health Visiting team based at Falkirk Central, Falkirk Community Hospital, NHS Forth Valley.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Health Visiting team, working with a varied client population including children and families with additional and complex needs. The post covers the Falkirk area and contributes to the delivery of the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.

Applicants should have experience in caseload management, child protection and safeguarding, working with families presenting with complex needs, and delivering health improvement interventions. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
