Job summary

HCRG Care Group is recruiting a Health Visitor to join the Warwickshire 0–19 service across Nuneaton and Bedworth. You will lead the Healthy Child Programme, assess needs, and work with families to improve outcomes while safeguarding children.

The role offers flexible and hybrid working, a local base, and the chance to influence service development. You will supervise learners and junior staff, collaborate with partners, and use evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN – Health Visiting) qualification.
• Current NMC registration.
• Experience working within health visiting teams.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and partnership working skills.
• IT literacy and experience using electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (Universal Partnership Plus) within your locality.
• Assess health needs and implement targeted, outcome-focused interventions for children and families.
• Take responsibility for safeguarding and outcomes of children on child protection plans.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to support vulnerable families.
• Promote health and wellbeing through early intervention, education, and signposting.
• Manage and co-ordinate a defined caseload, working both autonomously and within a wider team.
• Delegate and support skill mix teams to deliver effective care.
• Contribute to multi-agency assessments and act as Lead Professional where appropriate.
• Drive service improvement through leadership, innovation, and evidence-based practice.
• Support and develop colleagues, learners, and junior staff through supervision and training.
