Job summary

Buckland Care is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to inspire and enhance the careers of our care staff, based across four homes in Poole, Fareham, Portchester and Totland Bay.

You will deliver mandatory Health and Social Care training, manage the Training Matrix, and supervise inductions including Care Certificate, ensuring staff remain compliant and up to date.

The role requires great organisation, strong communication, and the ability to travel between sites; mileage is paid.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mandatory Health and Social Care training to groups.
• Proven track record in staff development and advancing care staff skills.
• Strong record-keeping abilities and training matrix maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; engaging and adaptable.
• Willingness to travel between sites and coordinate across multiple homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face training across four care homes (Poole, Fareham, Portchester, Totland Bay).
• Keep the Training Matrix up to date and track staff training compliance.
• Lead inductions for new starters, including Care Certificate support.
• Collaborate with another Training Coordinator to ensure a unified approach.
• Travel between sites; mileage will be paid.

Job description

Buckland Care is looking for an experienced Training Coordinator to inspire and enhance the careers of our care staff. You will be based across 4 care homes in Poole, Fareham, Portchester and Totland Bay (Isle of Wight).

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Training Coordinator, you will work across a number of care homes providing inspirational face to face training to staff across a range of topics. You will be enthusiastic and highly organised with lots of previous experience in a similar role. You will ensure the Training Matrix is up to date and that staff are compliant with their training and provide any refresher training required. You will also be in charge of the induction of new starters including supporting new carers with the Care Certificate. You will work with the other Training Coordinator to ensure a joined up approach across our business. You must be able to drive so you can get to each site independently.

ABOUT YOU:

• Experienced in delivering mandatory Health and Social Care training modules to groups of learners
• Qualified with a PTTLS / AET / PGCE / CertEd
• A recognised Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
• An excellent communicator who is engaging and adaptable
• Highly organised and ability to keep good records
• Must be able to drive between care homes (mileage will be paid)
• Self-motivated and good time management skills
