Vision for Education is looking for compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to support specialist schools across Coventry from November 2026.

As a leading education recruitment agency, we provide staff to SEND schools on a day-to-day basis. You'll initially join our supply register, offering flexible work around your availability, with regular opportunities to move into long-term, part-time or full-time school placements.

Please note: candidates will be expected to work across both primary and secondary SEN settings, supporting pupils of different ages and with a range of additional needs.

The Role

You’ll support children and young people across primary and secondary settings, working with pupils with a range of additional and complex needs, including:

  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

  • Speech, language and communication needs
  • Social, emotional and behavioural needs

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
  • Encouraging learning, communication and independence

Your Health & Social Care qualification could provide an excellent foundation for working in SEN, particularly your understanding of care, safeguarding, communication, wellbeing, individual needs and supporting vulnerable people.
