Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) to join their UK-wide team. The role is home/field based with travel across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire, with full training to achieve a recognised Assessor award.

Starting salary £29,000 rising to £30,000 plus BONUS. Full-time, permanent with excellent benefits. You will assess and support learners toward Apprenticeships, deliver Functional Skills, and maintain progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold solid occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) as a Senior Carer or above.
• Must hold own Health and Social Care NVQ at Level 3.
• Must have a good level of ICT skills.
• Confident to deliver Functional Skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle and must be flexible with travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeship qualifications in Health and Social Care.
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
• Assessors are expected to take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload.
