KM Recruitment is seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) for home/field based work with travel across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Full training and support will be provided to achieve a recognised Assessor award.

The role offers a starting salary of £29,000–£30,000 with bonus, excellent benefits, pension, and expenses. A full-time permanent position with opportunities to progress is available.

Qualifications

• Solid occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) at Senior Carer level or above.
• Good ICT skills.
• Willingness to deliver Functional Skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeship qualifications in Health and Social Care.
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and administration.
• Take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold solid occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) as a Senior Carer or above.
• Must hold own Health and Social Care NVQ at Level 3.
• Must have a good level of ICT skills.
• Confident to deliver Functional Skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicleand must be flexible with travel.
