Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Health Safety and Wellbeing Manager for the Longside Substation site in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. The role is full-time and site-based, requiring on-site leadership to support Zero Harm objectives and operational excellence across the project.

You will engage with clients, project delivery teams and supply chain partners, delivering training, reporting and effective HS&W communications while coordinating with UK teams and ensuring branding guidelines are met.

• Literate in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of UK Zero Harm Strategy and related action plans.
• Lead on content for SHELT, ExCo, Group Forum and other meetings.
• Collate and update weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Identify key trends from data, assessments and audits.
• Deliver training and user support for the ProjectPortal.
• Create training materials and deliver required training.
• Assist in HS&W communications production and delivery.
• Collaborate with HS&W Directors to embed lessons learnt.
• Plan and deliver communications from HS&W Enabling function to wider business and external stakeholders.
• Provide support and leadership for HS&W projects, campaigns and events.
• Ad hoc business support including enquiries and content design.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with BB branding guidelines.
