Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor, Port Talbot

SRM is preparing for a major construction programme in Port Talbot, South Wales, involving heavy civil engineering works over the next 3 to 4 years, starting with enabling works in Q3 2025.

If you are an experienced Logistics Manager with large project experience, we offer an exciting opportunity to join our team on a project valued over £200m.

Your profile

The H&S Advisor supports stakeholders in achieving high HS&W standards by providing advice and collaboration with management, employees, and supply chain partners.

  • Member of IOSH
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in complex Construction or Civil Engineering projects
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis
  • Proven success in H&S improvement initiatives
  • Proactive in personal development
  • Chartered IOSH member
  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Mental Health First Aider
  • Understanding of behavioral psychology and human factors
