Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Health & Safety Advisor to act as the expert on health, safety and welfare. The role coordinates risk management, leads training for managers, and supports quality and governance strategies within a busy hospital environment.

The postholder will join the health and safety team to proactively deliver core safety requirements, manage violence and aggression, and ensure compliance with NHS regulatory frameworks while

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Detailed specialist knowledge of health and safety and related legislation.
• Knowledge of NHS regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in health and safety management in an NHS environment.
• Evidence of leadership and driving change.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Trust's expert advisor on health and safety.
• Coordinate the health and safety action plan and risk management.
• Lead training delivery to support managers in health and workplace safety.
• Support governance strategies and quality initiatives.
• Monitor and enhance health and safety programmes and plans.
