What You Will Do

  • Monitor and drive improvements in overall health and safety performance across the site.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
  • Provide expert guidance on health and safety matters, including reviewing project documentation and risk assessments.
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training sessions, including inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programmes.
  • Conduct site audits, accident investigations, and near-miss analyses to identify improvements and reduce incidents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure adherence to best practices.

What You Will Bring

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum requirement).
  • Proven experience in the engineering industry, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a variety of audiences.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, using a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with regulatory authorities.
