The Role

Are you experienced in health and safety within the live events or entertainment sector? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to ensuring safe working practices?

We’re looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join our team at Eclipse, a leading name in live event production. This full-time role is based in Beckenham and offers the chance to play a vital role in maintaining and improving safety standards across all aspects of our business—from office and warehouse environments to exciting onsite productions.

you’ll oversee and develop health and safety practices throughout the organisation. From risk assessments to audits, training, and onsite support, you’ll help keep our people safe and our projects compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop our Health & Safety Management System
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and 45001
  • Prepare risk assessments, method statements and safety plans for events
  • Provide onsite health and safety support, including toolbox talks
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Deliver health and safety training to staff and contractors
  • Work with production teams to advise on safe practices across technical disciplines
  • Ensure equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to industry standards
  • Stay up to date with relevant legislation and guidance
  • Support GDPR compliance efforts

The Person

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within live events
  • Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and CDM regulations
  • Confident communicator and decision-maker
  • Skilled in RAMS preparation, audits, and incident reporting
  • Flexible with working hours to meet onsite requirements
