Job Description:

Overview: We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager specializing in Policies & Procedures for a 3-4 month contract, outside IR35, with a negotiable rate. The role is based in the South East with a hybrid working environment.

Company: A specialist contractor providing power solutions to the Data Centre sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Health & Safety management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Report to the Health & Safety Director.
• Engage in systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of integrated management systems, policies, and procedures.
• CMIOSH qualification or working towards it.
• Organized with rapid information assimilation skills.
• Critical thinking, analytical skills, and high accuracy.
• Internal or Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 (ESSENTIAL).
• Experience working in a construction environment (ESSENTIAL).
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all departments.
