Job summary

roseyoung in Coventry is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to implement, monitor and maintain health and safety standards across three sites. You will drive the Health & Safety Management System and ensure compliance with company policies.

The role requires NEBOSH or IOSH, a related degree, strong communication skills, and experience with auditing and incident reporting. You will lead risk assessments, investigate incidents, and report KPI trends to senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree or working towards Occupational Health & Safety/Environmental Health.
• NEBOSH or IOSH or equivalent certification.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with auditing and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and maintain Health and Safety standards within the organisation.
• Develop and improve the Health & Safety Management System.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and standards.
• Monitor changes in legislation and advise on compliance.
• Lead risk assessments (general, COSHH, specific) and control measures.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes, recommend corrective actions.
• Report incidents to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Analyse KPI data and drive proactive safety initiatives.
• Deliver health and safety training for all staff levels.
