Job summary

Talentometry Ltd. is partnering with a respected M&E contractor to recruit a Quality, Health and Safety Manager. The successful candidate will oversee QH&S across multiple sites, drive policy development, audits, and compliance with ISO 45001 to protect staff and visitors.

This role requires strong leadership, risk assessment and incident investigation skills, with a focus on embedding a proactive safety culture and delivering continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification in health and safety or related field.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety laws, regulations, and ISO 45001.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, incidents analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience leading HS teams and audits; embedding safety culture.
• Excellent communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and enforce health and safety policies to comply with regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections; implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, or safety incidents; report findings (RIDDOR).
• Develop ISO 45001 integrated management systems and audit readiness.
• Design and deliver health and safety training for staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance; conduct audits and maintain documentation of HS activities.
• Develop and review emergency plans for fires, medical emergencies, or spills.
• Advise senior management on HS matters and support strategic planning.
• Ensure resources and personnel, including first aiders and fire wardens, are available.
