Health & Safety Manager - Airports / Aviation

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 negotiable depending on experience per annum plus car/allowance and package.

Location: Site Based (London, Stansted, Birmingham) with Hybrid working.

Company / Role Information:

A leading civil engineering and infrastructure company is recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Manager for their Aviation team, overseeing projects at Heathrow, Stansted, and Birmingham. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered.

Reporting to the Head of HSQE, the manager will develop a positive health & safety culture focused on accident prevention and safety improvement.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience on airport/aviation projects
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
• CSCS card holder
• Experience as an internal health & safety auditor
• Lead Auditor status is a plus
• Knowledge of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and registration processes
• Understanding of current health & safety legislation
• Strong presentation, communication, and IT skills
• Training and presentation experience at all organizational levels
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building

Role Responsibilities:

• Support and guide the business in health & safety management
• Represent the client regarding H&S issues
• Ensure proper reporting and investigation of incidents
• Manage health & safety advisors
