Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead HSE across two sites, with travel to Farnborough. You will develop policies, perform risk assessments and drive improvements in safety and environmental performance.

The role requires a NEBOSH Level 6 qualification, strong knowledge of UK legislation, and the ability to train and advise management and staff at all levels. Travel between sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HSE/Health & Safety Manager role within manufacturing or engineering.
• NEBOSH Level 6 qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and environmental requirements.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with employees at all levels, including senior management.
• Proactive, practical approach to improving HSE standards.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites as required.
• Experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing advantageous.

• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the business.

• Travel to the second site in Farnborough as required.

About You

• Proven experience in an HSE / Health & Safety Manager role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
• A NEBOSH Level 6 qualification - essential.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and environmental requirements.
• Experience carrying out risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to work confidently with employees at all levels, including senior management.
• A proactive and practical approach to improving HSE standards.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The flexibility to travel between sites when required.
• Experience within aerospace, engineering or another highly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
