Job summary

Bleckmann Solutions UK Ltd is seeking a Health & Safety professional to lead safety initiatives across a busy 24/7 logistics operation in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering engaging training and inductions.

You will partner with operations, HR and facilities to improve risk management, investigations and training compliance while supporting wellbeing and return‑to‑work processes.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams across a complex 24/7 logistics environment to drive Health & Safety excellence and ensure compliance with legislation and company standards.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture through coaching, engagement and visible floor presence.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Support accident, incident and near‑miss investigations with corrective actions implemented.
• Deliver inductions, training and Health & Safety awareness initiatives.
• Support and coach managers on Health & Safety responsibilities and best practice.
• Monitor Health & Safety performance and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Manage training compliance records and documentation.
• Oversee MHE fleet compliance and contractor site induction processes.
• Support wellbeing, return‑to‑work and rehabilitation activities.
