Job summary

Bleckmann UK is seeking a Compliance Manager to partner with Operations in a demanding 24/7 logistics environment. You will lead health & safety initiatives, deliver training, and ensure adherence to UK legislation.

The role requires NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, strong communication and stakeholder management, and the ability to influence a safety‑minded culture across teams. Salary up to £44,900, with benefits and visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health & safety qualification.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead safety initiatives with a proactive culture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams to drive H&S excellence in a 24/7 setting.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and visibility on the floor.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies and procedures.
• Lead inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Deliver inductions, training and H&S awareness initiatives.
• Coach managers on H&S responsibilities and best practice.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Oversee training records, MHE fleet compliance and contractor inductions.
• Be the primary contact for H&S, compliance and regulatory matters.
