VIQU Energy is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support delivery of electricity infrastructure projects in the UK. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards while promoting safe working practices and continual improvement across management systems.

You will work with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to support audits, inspections, incident investigations, and training activities, helping drive HSQE performance across the

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Certificate or IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety qualification.
  • Experience in construction, utilities, engineering, or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of HSE and quality management systems.
  • Experience conducting audits, site inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction H&S requirements.
  • Experience investigating incidents and producing detailed reports.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, legislation, and guidance.
  • Support maintenance and continual improvement of company management systems.
  • Deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks, and briefings.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders on HSQE matters and best practice.
  • Support project teams with CDM requirements and Construction Phase Plans.
